By accessing or using DocGovernance, you agree to these Terms. If you are using DocGovernance on behalf of an organization, you represent that you have authority to bind that organization.
DocGovernance provides tamper-evident document evidence infrastructure: cryptographic custody ledgers, version lineage tracking, approval governance, AI-assisted document interrogation, and offline-verifiable court bundle exports. The service generates cryptographic evidence that may support authentication and chain-of-custody review in audits and legal proceedings.
You retain ownership of all documents you upload. You grant DocGovernance a limited license to process your documents solely to provide the service. We do not sell your data, use it to train AI models, or share it with other organizations.

By design, the DocGovernance evidence ledger is append-only and tamper-evident. Deletion requests produce a deletion receipt in the ledger rather than physically removing records. This is a security feature, not a limitation. Enterprise customers may configure retention policies consistent with their legal hold and compliance requirements.
DocGovernance is provided "as is." We do not warrant that court bundles will be admitted in any proceeding. To the maximum extent permitted by law, our liability is limited to the fees paid in the 12 months preceding the claim. We are not liable for indirect, consequential, or punitive damages.
Either party may terminate at any time. On termination, you may export your data for 30 days. After that, data is deleted per our retention policy. Cryptographic event records that form part of another user's bundle may be retained as necessary to preserve ledger integrity.
We will notify you of material changes by email at least 14 days before they take effect. Continued use after that date constitutes acceptance.
